Artist and musician Peaches is a feminist icon leaving an indelible mark on popular culture. This film brings together a blend of archival gems, interviews and riveting tour footage of The Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour. This screening will include an introduction by Dr Lucy Fife Donaldson from the University’s Film Studies Department.

This International Women’s Day, explore an extraordinary collection of embroidered dusters stitched by women worldwide. Through craftivism, these pieces transform domestic objects into powerful expressions of women’s lives, voices, and activism.

“Antuca” Film Screening and Q&A with Maria Barea

Join us for a screening of Peruvian film “Antuca”, followed by a Q&A with the film maker, Maria Barea. Antuca is a Peruvian film made in collaboration with Warmi Cine y Video, the pioneering Peruvian women’s film collective (est. 1989) and Iprofoth (Instituto de Promoción y Formación de Trabajadoras del Hogar), a non-profit dedicated to empowering migrant and Indigenous women domestic workers. This is a free event, but space is limited so booking is essential. The event has been organised by the department of Film Studies at the University of St Andrews.
